Meals: Tofu
Fajitas [Español/Castellano]
1 lb. extra-firm tofu
½ cup tamari or soy sauce
¼ cup water
1 tbsp. maple syrup
2 tbsp. nutritional yeast (optional)
½ tsp. cayenne pepper (optional or more
for spicy)
1-2 tbsp. oil (depending on the amount of veggies)
Favorite veggies sliced thinly
Slice the tofu thinly and lay strips on a baking
sheet. Mix the next five ingredients and pour over the tofu. Bake
at 350° for about 30 minutes, turning twice. Heat oil in a frying
pan and sauté veggies for 5 min. Add tofu and fry until sizzling.
Put fajita fillings in a warm tortilla.
Garnish to taste!
