Dips, Sauces, & Salsas: Nacho "Cheeze" Sauce

2 cups water

1/4 cups raw cashews

1 jar of pimentos (4oz.), drained

1 cup nutritional yeast flakes

2 Tbs cornstarch

1 Tbs lemon juice

1 1/2 salt

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp cumin

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Transfer mixture to saucepan and whisk over medium heat until thickened -- about 5 minutes.
